Magicians are those who know how to use Ancient devices, but do not know the
manner in which they work. The term is a misnomer, as these people do not use magic. They are average City dwellers, workers, businessmen, scientists, etc., which have been exiled for some supposed crime against society. These crimes are usually of a political, not violent, nature. They come from a very technical society, and therefore have the knowledge which comes from that background. To the "average" citizen of Gamma Terra, however, the ability to easily use the items of the Ancients is akin to magic. Some Outcasts make use of this mystery to achieve power or position. You will find Magicians in all stations of society. A Magician may be one of the good guys, and he or she may be seriously demented. Magicians are no different than normal Pure Ones in any respect. Their Skills will be of a relatively high technical nature, but they will lack the more practical Skills used in everyday Gamma Terra life. Newly starting Magician Characters will have the option of 3 complex Skills (those which require formal training) of technical nature, and their Stats have the following requirements:
- STR - No more than 14.
- INT - no less than 14.
- WILL - no less than 12.
- DEX - No restrictions.
- CON - No more than 13.
- CHR - No restrictions.

Tech-Mages are different from Magicians. A Tech-Mage usually held a position in technical design or repair, therefore they know how to repair and build technical items, but don't use most of them very well. Tech-Mages are general physically weak, but of high intelligence. Their Skills will reflect this. They, too, are no different than Pure Ones. Starting Tech-Mage Characters have the same Stat restrictions as Magicians, and will get 4 technical Skills (those which require formal training).

Jackers are the worst of the City Outcasts. They are the most feared City
dwellers, both in the Cities and in the Outside world. Jackers are people who
have given themselves over to adding to their bodies Ancient Tech. Weapons,
computers, and electronic devices can be seen attached to their bodies. These
people have no fear, and no mercy. They believe themselves to be a new race of
Pure Ones. Their only goal is to dominate. Jackers can pass for Pure Ones if they can cover thier additions. They have an intense disgust for "normals" (as they call Pure Ones), and a hatred for Mutants, Androids, and Cyborgs. They will co-operate with others as long as they can see a specific goal which would aid them in dominating an area or people. You will sometimes find them in positions of power, ruling with an unforgiving hand. Starting Jacker Characters will have no modifications to their Stats, and will have advanced surgical and electronics Skills. These Skills will allow them to pose as many things, including, ironically, Healers. Jackers can become "good" people, but it would take extreme circumstances.
